hey mom!


everything here is going great, this week went by super fast. we have an awesome investigator that hasnt been able to get baptized because he hasnt fully stopped smoking so he has come to church every week for 3 months paying a full tithe and he has just about quit smoking and we have talked to his wife and she always went to her church well last week she sent her tithing with our investigator and guess what happened yesterday... she went to church!!!! we did however find out bad news about them, they arent married, but after a month hopefully they will be able to get everything figured out to get married and baptized. its been amazing getting to know those people, and being able to help on their road to baptism. once they get baptized it´ll probably be my best baptism and also the one i waited longest for. tomorrow i get to go to the temple, we have our mission counsel with president again and we are going to a session with him. its so exciting. we have another baptism next week, july 10 its a kid in the ward 9 years old her mom is a member i dont know exactly why she hadnt been baptized but this week we have been preparing her for the baptism. and on saturday we helped the family that threw us a surprise party build two more rooms onto their house, pretty much all we did is put up posts and stick up tin for the roof and i helped install the lights, something i have never done before but my experience in car audio helped me know how to connect wires and all the good stuff. it took about the whole day but it looks really nice and of course the floor is dirt, they are probably the poorest family in my area yet the family that gives us most. everytime we pass by they give us a little package of candy, it means a lot its the thought and the faith of giving servants of God food that they will be blessed and they have been blessed imensely.

its good to hear that nicki and my dad are getting close to some job opportunities, i always pray for them, so nakia sent me some pictures from the sweet family get together, and there is one neice little girl that i dont recognize, i can barely recognize abby, if it even is her. so anyway looking at those pics i realized i´m not going to recognize any of the little ones. i bet your talk was the best one. ha ha i hope i have given you enough material, there is still more that i´ll tell you i just havent been able to tell you time and not remembering at the time.

so i´m kind of confused about the whole release date thing, today an elder going home with me told me that it wont be until the 30th and if it is so, we´ll have to change our plans a little bit that would mean you would fly down here on the 29th instead and i would want to go home on the 7th but dont do anything until i know for sure next week. hopefully we´ll be able to work things out, i´ll talk to president about it tomorrow.

well thats about it for this week, hope everything keeps going well for you and the family. have a good week. this church is ture and so is this work, miracles do happen when you have patience and persist, i love the way the Lord works, blessings come when we least expect them. thank you for everything, thank my dad for all that he ever taught me it has come in handy while helping people build and fix houses i´m now glad i learned.
