hey mom,

So this week has been absolutely crazy on wednesday we had our changes and everyone in the mission was saying that my companion was going to be Elder Alonso and well everyone was right, he is an amazing missionary, he is the perfect missionary to be with to end the mission, he is from Nicaragua, which means my english is going to be horrible when you get down here. i started showing my new companion the area and everything this week, he has been super excited to work here, its been great being with someone that has a true passion for this work. we found a new investigator family which is the best highlight of the week, hopefully i will be able to see them get baptized. well i´m glad you liked the pictures i sent you guatemala city is huge, I´m thinking about printing out a bunch of pictures to take home because they are a reasonable price, but could you tell me how much is costs to print out pictures so i can see if it is at a good price?

wow what a surprise nicki is sick again, ha ha hope see gets better, is she still living on her own? its crazy to think that josh is already a missionary!! man, your getting into this whole missionary moms thing aren´t you? its all good i´m glad your getting interaction with them, hopefully they dont tell you any horror stories. ha ha so brother garcia says its dangerous to drive to peten, i think its pretty safe, i just think it would be cooler to be able to see more of the country, and make just one stop on the way. in peten i served in san benito. have you talked to brother garcia about any of my areas?

well not much more to write, i love you, thank you for all you do, its been a great support to have the constant emails throughout the last two years. the church is true and so is the book of mormon. i love this work and the people that i serve everyday of the mission. everything happens for a reason, just sometimes we dont know the reason until afterwards. have a good week. hope everyone in the family can get and stay well. tell everyone hi.

Love,
Elder Spencer Karr
